MET Office Forecasts a Mild New Year’s

Eagerly anticipated by most, the New Year’s period also comes with the tense possibility of bad weather spoiling the fun. Fortunately, the MET Office at Malta International Airport forecasts a pleasant transition into the new year with light to moderate winds and mild temperatures.

Between the 30th and New Year’s Day, temperatures during daytime are expected to reach a maximum of 17°C to 18°C before dropping to minimum temperatures of between 9°C and 10°C as we countdown to 2016. The skies should be generally sunny to partly cloudy with little chance of rain, and humidity levels are predicted to be quite high at approximately 86%. Overall conditions are not expected to be severe and should not cause any significant interruptions to the New Year’s festivities.
